Personally, I have not been exposed much to biblical issues, but instead to ideas about mean rich tycoons exploiting the working classes, etc. On some level, I think such ideas have stood in the way for me many times in my life even though it may seem like I’ve left them behind long ago. At the back of my mind they have still been echoing somehow.

Bob Doyle’s Wealth Beyond Reason course (see below) is designed to help you get over memories like those - biblical or leftist - so you can shape your life the way you really would like to have it. And actually I have become a more spiritually oriented person in the process of clearing up old hangups.

Indeed, I have become interested in new ways of finding a spiritual dimension in life. Call it “New Age” if you like, personally I feel there is much very valuable to be found here. For instance, you have the “Conversations With God” book series by Neale Donald Walsch. Fascinating reading! I even made a screensaver inspired by those books, I call it Dream Interview with God. (Yes, there is another one out there with a similar theme but of course I prefer mine!)  Why would the power we usually call God have stopped talking to us 2000 years ago? That wouldn’t make sense to me at least.

All this is supposed to help you get a new car. But I say it probably won’t! And why? Because the important thing is not whether you want a new car, but how you FEEL when you think about “getting a new car”.

For instance, you may be driving an old clunker, and you hate getting all those repair bills and you also hate that it is not reliable. You feel really FRUSTRATED, and then you think “I really need a new car!” The problem is that your frustrated feeling will block the energy from flowing in the direction of a new car.

Most programs teaching “The Law of Attraction” tend to omit this fact, or at least de-emphasize it. I recall perusing affirmations to get something, many years ago. I repeated the affirmation hundreds of times, and the more I repeated it the more sad and discouraged I felt! Do I need to tell you I failed to get what I wanted?!

One of the few programs that really help you deal with this problem of negative emotions blocking you from achieving what you want in life is Bob Doyle’s Wealth Beyond Reason course. I use that program myself, and I strongly recommend it.

Interestingly, a similar thing happened with the book “Think and Grow Rich” by Napoleon Hill, when it was originally published, in that all references hinting at something of a spiritual nature were edited out. For instance, the word “vibration” was purged from the manuscript.

“Getting in tune with” — I use that phrase to convey a sense of what it’s all about. What I mean is, we are NOT talking about an intellectual process here, like understanding a math problem. An explanation of this Law simply points you in the right direction.

To really get it, though, you need to change at a deeper level. You need to change the way you relate to your world.

I have been a student of Bob Doyle’s course Wealth Beyond Reason for some weeks now (and a rather lazy student actually). OK, so have I seen any results?

Answer: look at the screenshot here below! I am promoting a product thru one of my websites, and usually I make very little since this site hasn’t got much traffic. Today I was surprised to find the following stats (and this after only about half the day) –

I am quite pleased with having generated two sales from nine clicks!

Call it coincidence if you like, I prefer to see it as a result of my mindset. I haven’t done any promotion at all for this site in a while either.

And then there’s the BOOOMING voice that repeats “The Seeecret!” Yes, I guess you need to do stuff like that to keep the audience awake when discussing a deeep subject like The Law of Attraction…

Aside from that, the film does give some very basic idea of how we attract things into our lives. It does feature some very good people, including Bob Doyle who is the founder of the excellent Wealth Beyond Reason program. I warmly recommend this course if you want to understand what the “law of attraction” is REALLY about!

The Wealth Beyond Reason program teaches these principles, but it does something more: it helps you clear the inner blocks you probably have, which stop you from creating the reality you would like to experience.

Instead, focus on what you would DO with the money, if you had it. If you dream about a nice new house, think about the looks and features of that house. For instance, what would the view from the living room window look like? And what color would the walls have in the kitchen?

Let’s take a closer look at the Law of Attraction: If this concept is really true, it means that whatever is going on inside your mind is creating the reality you experience. Now, think about that for a moment.

Suppose you want to manifest something, like a new car. And at the moment you hardly have enough money to pay the rent. But you have read in the latest self-help book that to get something you just need to focus your thoughts on it!

So you really go for it, you do your best to visualize that car. However, at the back of your mind there is that little voice whispering: “Don’t be silly - you KNOW you haven’t got the money!” And even if you manage to quiet that voice for a few minutes, it will most likely soon be back doing its thing.

What, then, are you actually putting out into the Universe? A very mixed message, mostly consisting of the statement “I cannot afford a new car!”

This is why the Law of Attraction doesn’t seem to work for most of us. Or, actually, it DOES work… but not the way we would like it to work. We are constantly shaping our reality, but usually without knowing what we are really doing.

In other words, if you focus your thoughts on what you would like to get, then you will get it! Sounds simple, right? Maybe even a bit simplistic. I am sure many of us have tried this idea by visualizing money, a new car, and so on, without much success.

Clearly, there must be more to it than just thinking about what you would like to have. “Yes, of course you have to take action!“, someone points out. OK, sure, many of us ARE taking action - working many long hours to reach our goals. And still, real success seems to elude us. Why is that?
