How to Attract the Things You Want
Have you heard of the Law of Attraction? This is a concept you will find in most every book on personal development. Simply put, it says that whatever you focus your thoughts on will eventually manifest in your physical reality.
In other words, if you focus your thoughts on what you would like to get, then you will get it! Sounds simple, right? Maybe even a bit simplistic. I am sure many of us have tried this idea by visualizing money, a new car, and so on, without much success.
Clearly, there must be more to it than just thinking about what you would like to have. “Yes, of course you have to take action!“, someone points out. OK, sure, many of us ARE taking action - working many long hours to reach our goals. And still, real success seems to elude us. Why is that?
